Our Trip to Minot, ND
September 22nd, 2005 - September 27th, 2005

 

We took our fourth trip to Minot.  This time, Jared was old enough to play with family.  We enjoyed seeing Paul's family again.  We had another fireworks display, brought to us by Michael Carlson Fireworks Inc. :)  We had fun visiting family, including Jared's great grandma.  We also got to take a tour of Minot's Scandinavian Heritage Center.  Check out the pictures below of our trip.

Minot has a Scandinavian Heritage Center,
filled with buildings and monuments from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
This is a Norwegian stabbur, or a sod roofed log storehouse.

This is a 230-year-old house from Sigdal, Norway,
that was dismantled, shipped to Minot and reassembled in the park.
