Beading

Here are pictures of some of the beading projects I have had fun making.

Here is my first attempt at making a beaded bracelet.
This is a faith bracelet or salvation bracelet.  I saw something similar online at a Christian store.
Here is what the colors represent:  Black for man's sin, Red for Christ's blood,
Clear for God's holiness and grace, Blue for the baptism of the Holy Spirit,
Green for the growing Christian's faith and Gold for the gold streets of heaven.
The red at the end is a red crystal heart, showing God's love to all.

I made a charm bracelet that represents me.
I included red garnet crystals, for my birthstone.
Each charm represents something about me...measuring cups for cooking and baking,
a wedding album for my husband and marriage, a garden for my love of gardening,
a cross and ichthus, or fish, for my faith in Jesus Christ,
a music note for my love of music and MOM for being a mom :)

I love the color red :)

A bracelet with the colors of winter.

Then another one with the colors of spring...

Colors of summer...

And finally one with the colors of fall.  A bracelet for each season :)

I love the Scriptural passage on the fruits of the Spirit...
Galatians 5:22-23 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
So, I decided to make a bracelet that represents this passage.
Each fruit represents a Spiritual fruit, e.g. lemon for "love."
It will always be a physical reminder when I wear it.

I made two bracelets for my mother-in-law, Martha, for Mother's Day one year.
She loves the color cobalt blue :)

Pink is such a sweet color.
I love this bracelet, with the pink cat's eye beads and gold rose beads.
