Trimester (13 to 27 weeks) |

September 30th, 2003 (14 weeks): Today
was picture day for our baby :) Yes, we went in for our first ultrasound! Dr.
McClusky wanted me in early to verify my due date. Now, before any of you
ask it’s too early to find out if it is a boy or girl – bummer, man! We won’t
be able to find out what we are having till weeks 16 – 18. We got to see the
baby sleeping today. The baby is doing great and all lab work of mine has been
turning out normal. See below for the ultrasound picture of our little baby. |

October 13th, 2003 (16 weeks): This week I broke into my pregnancy
gear. I have started outgrowing my clothes and am in need of tummy comfort
:) Check out the image below. |

October 28th, 2003 (18 weeks): Today
we went in to the doctor for another visit and ultrasound. Everything is going
great! My blood pressure is good (110/66). All blood work has come back good;
negative on birth defects like spinal bifida, Down syndrome, etc. I am 18 weeks
along and still targeted for an
April 1st, 2004 due date.
We found out what we are having, a boy or a girl! IT'S A BOY! We are
excited. Now, we can form a little person and personality around this baby
of ours! |

November 15th, 2003 (20 weeks): Paul and I just got
back from our trip to Kauai. We thought it would be cool to take off for a
last fun trip together, just the two of us, before the baby comes. It was

November 25th, 2003 (22 weeks): We went in for another baby doctor
appointment this morning. Our baby boy is doing great! No ultrasound for
a few weeks but we did get to hear his heartbeat. My health is doing well. I
had a thyroid test a few weeks back and the results came back normal. My blood
pressure is staying low, 106/66. I am feeling wonderful; no big aches or pains.
God has been taking great care of me and the baby and Paul is being such the
attentive and caring husband and father! My tummy keeps growing. I just
started my 22nd week today. I am a little over the halfway mark. WOW, how time
flies :) ! |

December 22nd, 2003 (26 weeks): We
went again to the doctor’s this morning. All is well. We heard the baby’s
heartbeat again, a good rate at 150. We go back in to the doctor in three
weeks. At that time, we should get a 3D ultrasound picture of the baby. That
will be awesome to see! Please be praying for Paul, the baby, and me as we
enter the third trimester in the next week or so. Lots can happen in the last
three months. Pray for continued good health for me and the baby and praise God
for Paul and all the help he is providing at home. |
